Paula Tsui is a beloved Cantopop singer whose career spans several decades. Born in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on January 1, 1948, she made her recording debut in 1969 in association with Crown Records. In subsequent years she would record albums for labels including Man Chi Records (1971-1973), Wing Hang Records (1973-1978), Sony Records (1978-1981), Contec Records (1982-1986), and PolyGram Records (1986-1990). She was also long affiliated with the Hong Kong television station TVB.
